Kristine Slawinski

Kristine is a heritage professional with a background in commercial interior design.

She holds a Graduate Certificate in Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies from Deakin University and a Master of Urban and Cultural Heritage from the University of Melbourne.

Kristine has complemented her extensive experience in the design industry with studies that provide a theoretical foundation for identifying, managing and conserving cultural heritage values in the built environment. With an academic background and industry experience in interior design, Kristine is a keen advocate for a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to understanding and assessing the built form of our cities and places.

Drawing on her expertise in design, research, writing, heritage impact assessments and interpretation, Kristine is able to bring a multidisciplinary lens to projects. She also has experience in stakeholder engagement, project management and the provision of advice to architects and design teams.
