If you are looking for an inclusive and flexible workplace where clever and creative people work together on great client projects, GML might be the place for you.
We value independent thinking, fun and ideas. We are curious about the world and love learning from each other and from the people in the many sectors we work with. We are always interested to hear from talented people who are keen to make a difference.
Our central Sydney office was designed by leading modernist architect, Harry Seidler. It is column free, light, bright and airy, with city views from a north facing balcony, a large kitchen and break out area, and quiet room. In Canberra we have a landscape setting and are co-located with the Australian Institute of Architects in a heritage listed building designed by Bryce Mortlock in 1967.
Internships and Placements
Annually GML Heritage and Context provides opportunities for student placements or internships. We accept advanced level undergraduate students studying cultural heritage, urban planning, archaeology, architecture, public history and museum studies. Placements or internships vary from several weeks to a year depending on course requirements.
At GML Heritage and Context you’ll gain insight and real-world experience in heritage consulting as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team. You’ll be mentored by GML Heritage and Context consulting staff and work on projects and proposals, attend meetings and gather and analyse research and information. Access to our in-house training and development program and fun social activities are provided along the way.
Opportunities for internships and placements are advertised here when they become available.
