Dr Kat McRae has over 12 years of experience working as a professional archaeologist and heritage consultant.

She holds a PhD in Near Eastern Archaeology and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Sydney.

Kat has worked extensively on Aboriginal and historical archaeological sites throughout NSW, and as a contractor on several research projects throughout the broader Middle East and Caucasus (including Armenia, Cyprus, Iran, Jordan, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates).

Kat specialises in historical research, archaeological illustration, and mapping. She is highly skilled in the preparation of archaeological assessments, heritage impact statements, research designs, and conservation management plans, and has contributed to the archaeological assessment of several state significant sites in NSW.
