Celeste is a senior heritage consultant, archaeologist and conservator based in Melbourne.
Celeste has over seven years of extensive experience across both Aboriginal cultural heritage and historical projects. Celeste has led and delivered cultural heritage assessments through various stages such as project coordination, archaeological fieldwork and assessment, and data analysis. She has developed invaluable working relationships with Traditional Owners, clients, landowners, and community representatives, and continually promotes strong connection to Country.
Celeste is a listed Heritage Advisor under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic) and possesses a thorough understanding of both the Act and the Aboriginal Heritage Regulations 2018.
Celeste is also an objects conservator with experience applied to historic assemblages within Victoria and New Zealand. She has worked for a private conservation practice and on several archaeological projects as both an archaeologist and site conservator within Australia. She has a particular interest in the conservation of archaeological material, specifically metals.
