Casey Heritage Study
A comprehensive description of the historical themes that have influenced the development of the City of Casey in Melbourne’s south-east.
Context (now GML Heritage) developed an innovative approach for the project which was well received by both the client and by the local branch of the National Trust of Australia (Victoria).
The project included a ‘gaps’ study which assessed places of potential local significance which had been identified and partially assessed by previous studies.
The final report included a range of recommendations for statutory protection and future management of heritage places through a Conservation Strategy for the city.
