Susan Whitby, Heritage Consultant, Archaeologist, has nearly 20 years’ experience in archaeology and physical anthropology. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Archaeology) and Graduate Diploma (Biological Anthropology) from the Australian National University, and has studied palaeopathology at the University of Bradford, UK, and the Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C.
Specialising in Aboriginal archaeology, Susan is an expert in Australian Aboriginal ancestral remains repatriation and has worked with leading national museums in the research and study of Aboriginal remains. She also has a broad range of experience in historical and Aboriginal archaeological excavation and report writing in New South Wales, bringing her strong experience in physical anthropology and osteology to consulting archaeology.
Susan is also a trained lifestyle medicine practitioner specialising in corporate health, wellness promotion and chronic disease management.
