Leah is an archaeologist and researcher who specialises in Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Management.
Leah is a Jadawadjali, Gunditj-mera, Wemba Wemba, Wergaia, Bindjali, Ngargad woman from western Victoria.
Leah also has extensive experience with stakeholder engagement and the repatriation of Ancestral Remains and Secret and Sacred objects, through her work with the Ancestral Remains Unit of the Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Council.
Aboriginal people are the future of the cultural heritage industry. Our stories, oral traditions and sense of place and belonging provide valuable and unique insights into the past.
