Heritage and Design Consultant
Annabelle Wijaya, GML Heritage and Design Consultant, is a key member of GML’s design team. Bringing together a flair for design with a background in heritage conservation and interior architecture, Annabelle provides GML and its clients with invaluable graphics and design support.
Annabelle has developed skills in undertaking heritage significance assessments, and the production of heritage impact statements and conservation management plans. She is experienced in small-scale heritage interpretation implementation, design and installation projects and is currently building expertise in higher-level interpretation research, strategy and planning.
With her talent for photography and eye for good design, Annabelle specialises in photographic archival recordings and artefact photography. She also develops templates and document designs for the firm across InDesign, PowerPoint and Word, and assists with marketing, including a recent GML brand refresh.
Fluid, dynamic and flexible, heritage places can coexist with innovative architecture for striking design, world-class sustainability outcomes and public engagement with a site’s past and future. I’m interested in how heritage conservation, interpretation and adaptive re-use can help build the cities of tomorrow.
