Proud Partner of Sydney Open 2019

GML Heritage is proud to sponsor the 2019 launch of Sydney Open, Sydney’s biggest architectural event.

On Friday 1 November, around 100 special guests will gather at The Mint, to kick start a weekend of exploration at the city’s heritage treasures and architectural wonders. Guests will hear from industry experts and share their tips for a weekend of intrigue.

On Saturday 2 November, expert‑led Focus Tours (including the brand-new After Dark Tours) take ticket holders behind the scenes of some of Sydney’s most in‑demand and intriguing spaces. On Sunday 3 November, the Sydney Open pass unlocks the doors of 50 of Sydney’s most inspiring and architecturally significant buildings across the CBD.

This is the fourth year that GML Heritage has partnered with Sydney Open. Our team has also enjoyed the opportunity to contribute to this event in different ways as ambassador, volunteering at buildings and hosting tours of places that are usually off limits. We are also excited to be part of the newly launched Sydney Open Member and VIP Talks Program. GML Senior Associate, Claire Nunez, will be one of a great line-up of speakers, available to members and VIPs at The Mint on 3 November.

Moreover, we are proud to have contributed to the fabric of Sydney, through our heritage advice, archaeological services, historical research and conservation advice. Our services have been used at many of the buildings participating in Sydney Open, throughout the years, including 50 Martin Place, AMP Building, Australia Square, Government House Sydney, Museum of Sydney, The Big Dig Archaeology Education Centre, and The Mint.
