Kim Roberts Wins University Award
Congratulations to Kim Roberts, Associate, who received the 2019 Neil Archbold Memorial Travel Award and Medal from Deakin University for her peer-reviewed journal article, ‘The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Cenotaph and the Shadow Side of Spatial Research’.
Kim used the award to return to Hiroshima where she conducted her PhD research on the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park designed by Kenzo Tange. While in Hiroshima, she disseminated her research findings and undertook further research on the recently refurbished Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
Kim is a registered architect with a background in contemporary architectural design; she has specialised in heritage architecture, planning and asset management for over fifteen years. We are proud to have her on our team.
