Sydney Open 2017 Success!

Sydney Open is over for 2017 and was once again a great success. GML Heritage was a proud supporter of Sydney Open for the second year running. Sharon Veale, GML CEO, joined in helping to kick off the event at the Sydney Open Breakfast on Sunday morning, while a number of the GML team volunteered at several sites across the city.

This year, more than 60 historically and architecturally inspiring Sydney buildings that are usually ‘off limits’ threw open their doors in the CBD, Central, Redfern and Eveleigh.

GML Heritage is proud to have delivered heritage, archaeological and interpretation services to many buildings featured in the program, including the EY Building at 200 George Street, Sydney, Government House, Australia Square, Carriageworks, The Mint, The Sydney Harbour YHA and Big Dig Archaeology Centre, and the Museum of Sydney.
