Reece McDougall—BSc MES
Reece McDougall, Chief Executive Officer, has over 30 years’ experience managing heritage and environmental policy at senior and executive level. He was Executive Director of the NSW Heritage Office from 2006 to 2008 and Assistant Director/Director from 1998 to 2006. In this position he had a lead role in conserving the State’s environmental heritage. Recently, as Acting Executive Director of the Cultural Heritage Division of the NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water, Reece was responsible for State government policy and strategic initiatives for managing Aboriginal heritage in NSW. He also led the implementation of the National Parks and Wildlife Amendment Bill 2009, including a review of the policies, procedures and regulations relating to Aboriginal cultural heritage, permits and offences in NSW.
Reece has also worked at the National Trust of Australia (NSW) and was the Environmental Manager for AWT Ensight, the commercial arm of Sydney Water.
Claire Geary—BA (Hons) MBA AIMM
Claire is GML’s Corporate Services Manager. She joined GML in 2001 as the Operations Manager following various senior roles in the public and not-for-profit sectors (including volunteer roles). Claire has an MBA and extensive operational and general management skills and experience. In her current role for GML she provides high level administrative, operational, and strategic planning support, research and advice to the CEO, Board and Partners. Claire looks after the corporate functions of the firm including human resources, marketing, IT, compliance and governance, risk management, and general and strategic operations, as well as contributing her vast business knowledge to project management requirements.
